Our knitted items with mohair
Hey there!
Have you been wondering what mohair really means? Of course, we have some beautiful items that are made of this fabric and we would love to tell you more about them.
Info about the fabric
Mohair is the wool of the angora goat. The angora goats, especially the younger ones, have silky shiny hair, the mohair, which is used for our knitted items.
Now you already know that this kind of wool has a beautiful shine. But this product contains many more advantages. Besides the excellent quality we can tell you that compared to regular wool this one does NOT sting. Since this is a natural product it keeps the warmth on your body very well and you do not sweat in the fabric. Unpleasant odors are therefore not applicable to our knitwear.
Animal cruelty free
Our knitwear is completely animal cruelty free. Since the fur of these animals is only shaved and this at periods just before they start to lose their fur (for example summer) these animals do not suffer.
Care instructions
This is a natural product so take care of it too! Wash your knitwear by hand as much as possible. If you choose to machine wash, pay attention to the following: never warmer than 30°C, spin-dryer position as low as possible. And of course definitely NOT in the tumble dryer.
In the beginning it is possible that your knitwear fluffs up a little. Does this bother you? TIP: put it in the freezer for a night.
So now you know all about our mohair items.
Enjoy our beautiful knitwear!
